The programme “Mini-MBA in food service Management” is aimed at talents from the food service industry, who would like to further develop themselves, alongside a career, to an international MBA level.
The further education programme is developed and carried out together with the renowned WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
WHAT IS THE PROGRAMME “MINI-MBA IN FOOD SERVICE MANAGEMENT” ?
The programme “ICA Mini-MBA in Food Service Management is a career- further training
programme at MBA level. The programme is one year long with 24 days on location, which will mostly take place in Düsseldorf. A three-day module outside of Germany is also a part of the programme.
The programme “ICA Mini-MBA in food service Management” will be taught by Professors from the WHU. The integration of top-class experts from practice, for example from the ICA network, is an important part of the programme. After successful completion of the “ICA Mini-MBA in Food Service Management”, participants receive a certificate and a transcript of records for 15 ECTS (equivalent to 25% of an MBA degree). The successful participation in an “ICA Mini-MBA in Food Service Management” allows for membership (as a “Friend”) in the alumni network of the WHU (In Praxi e.V).
WHICH SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE ARE ACQUIRED?
Together with experts from the food service industry, we have created an academic, but at the same time practically relevant, curriculum for you. Amongst others, topics such as supply-chain management & logistics, strategy development and implementation, entrepreneurial thinking and acting, as well as sales and marketing are part of the curriculum. Learning with concrete case studies, discussion in study groups, as well as simulation and blended learning formats are in the foreground of the programme, in order to achieve an optimal learning impact.
The programme “ICA Mini MBA in Food Service Management” provides you with knowledge and skills, which are useful for your next career move into a leadership role full of responsibility. Through the intensive group work and the class size of maximum 30 participants, we also create space for networking.
WHO IS THE PROGRAMME FOR?
The programme “ICA Mini-MBA in food service Management” is aimed at talents from the food service industry, or talents, who are looking for a way into the food service industry. The participants should already be in a position of responsibility or aim to take on such a position.Prerequisites are a previous degree, relevant work experience, as well as very good English Competency.
